My mom is a lawyer and one of her client mentioned that she has an oak tree lying on her property. The tree was felled by a storm just a few weeks ago and when my mom mentioned what I do for a living she immediately offered the wood if I would be interested. So when I visited my parents the following month I took my new chainsaw with me and tested it on this tree. When this bowl was dried I sandblasted it, and painted the outside black.
