Tae
This decorative bowl is made from beech wood that comes from the Forest Botanical Garden located in Tharandt/Germany. My partner's father works there. He called me when this tree fell during a storm and offered it for my work. This bowl is one of the biggest I have turned so far and the wood is really beautiful. The grooves on the side shows the warping of this piece as they rise and descent like a water in the wind. There is some beautiful spalting in the wood which won’t bore your eyes.
